Don’t forget your swimsuit, sunscreen and towel.
Our recommendation for this kind of boat trip is a complete tour around Lobos Island (see CP4 map). We head over to Lobos Island crossing the 2-km inlet separating the island from the islet, which is called El Río (The River).
As we get closer to the western part of Lobos Island, refreshed by the wind, you can see its beautiful mountain, La Caldera, a half-submerged volcanic cone, and its black-sand beach.
We troll while heading north, with views of Lanzarote Island as a constant backdrop, until we reach Faro Martiño lighthouse (the family of Antoñito “El Farero”, the last lighthouse keeper here, lived on the islet until 1968). From there we turn to sail from the east coast of the islet to the south where we then arrive in El Puertito, with its white fishermen houses immersed in a haven of peace.
We continue until we reach La Concha beach, famous for its paradise-like tranquillity and its turquoise waters where the landscape ebbs and flows with the tide
This unrivalled spot is where we drop anchor so you can enjoy some water activities: feeding fish and snorkelling among them, kayaking and paddle boarding, or just daydreaming while lying in the sun on our catamaran net.
Afterwards, we sail back to Corralejo while your recent experiences start to settle in your memory.
As an EXTRA you can hire our Water Taxi to take you into Lobos Island’s small lagoons where you are surrounded by their turquoise water and shoals of fish.
From here you can get off the boat in El Puertito and enjoy the islet on land as well.
The route we recommend for this 8-hour full-day trip on a catamaran takes you to the neighbouring island of Lanzarote. From there we sail to the island’s southern beaches, including the delightful Papagayo beach. We then turn to Lobos Island and sail along its eastern-most part until we arrive at our private mooring spot opposite La Concha beach where you have time to enjoy all our water activities:
snorkelling, paddle boarding, kayaking... or just relaxing under the sun, lying on our catamaran net.
For lunch on board, you can bring your own favourite food or, if you prefer, we can serve you a meal provided you notify us at least 24 hours in advance (this involves an extra charge).
We return to Corralejo in the afternoon, after a day out at sea in touch with the most amazing landscapes in our surroundings.
As an EXTRA you can hire our Water Taxi to take you into Lobos Island’s small lagoons where you are surrounded by their turquoise water and shoals of fish.
